Patient’s age should be 18 years and above. Consent of the patient is must.Pregnancy upto 12 wks can be terminated in our hospital.
Consent of both husband and patient is required. If tubectomy is to be done after having 1 child, child has to be 5 years or above. If tubectomy is to be done after having 2 children, at least 1 child should be more than 3 years old. After having 3 or more children, tubectomy can be done any time.In women with regular menstrual cycles, tubectomy is usually done between 5th to 12th day of the cycle.
